Snake Flower 2 "Renegade Daydream" is available now (ships 1 week).
Following the "Talk About It" single TTT did earlier this year, their debut album pulls out a ballsier/blown-out sound (courtesy of culprits Jay Bronzini and Weasel Walter) with all the bits n pieces of the psych/punk/garage rock n roll writing mixture that made their singles stay on the turntable here.
We've been working on this one a while. The album will be available on both CD/LP formats, with the LP release slated for a month from now (TTT ain't a major label folks!), but fortunately even the all analog boys and girls won't be dissapointed. We didn't cut any corners with the CD, including a pretty big booklet and mastering job that fits the format right. Once again, we ain't no major, so it's quite a feat to do things nicely. All the bullshit aside, the fucking album is amazing and has been rocking in my car and my place constantly for months since it's been worked on. This band is in charge. Be warned.
Victim of Time is also running a feature on Snake Flower 2 today for the record release (courtesy Todd Killings). Go here and read about good music anyway. Sheeeeeesh.
WhoahAlso, Matt K. Shrugg has a single due out with TTT in that batch I was yabbering about. It's awesome sounding/really great mix of songs (4 in all) and he did some super killer art for it too. The guy is amazing. Does all the writing, playing, art...and it's all so fucking GOOD. Just awesome.
There's also some newbies in the mailorder, restocks etc. Oh, and just got done mastering another Digital Leather album right now too someone else is gonna put out soon with all kinds of oddities on it.
There's a lot too that I can't really "announce". As always right! But yeah, it's just that there's a lot of wheels and shit like that turning over here at the moment...I will be sure to get cranked up and post shortly on that.

The ever-rotating line-up will solidify here to blow out their wild n weird...punk-psych mix (not weird punk, weird....punk) which is nothing short of phenomenal.
All-soooo, Static Static will dope up the youth with a cloud of their glue-wave tunes, prepping the kids for the weird rock extravaganza. If ya don't have a clue on the glue, their HoZac single was awesome, as is HoZac period, and I hears they gots some more in the werks on 4:2:2 and a buddy of mines label...hmm excitin!! shall we see? shall we go? we shall!
Both bands will be on hand to break up sounds and spit them out like the shards of a shattered coke mirror while you slurp beer in preparation for your untimely death everyone could see coming. mmm. hahah!

Also, the Thomas Function single is finally gone. Took a while because we made a trillion. But yeah.
Thanks to everybody who bought Lost Sounds, Snake Flower 2 and Yokohama Hooks singles, which are also going fast. The Lost Sounds is already about to get repressed on trash colored vinyl. First 1,000 were on black. The band members should all have plenty and you can get em still from Jay Reatard on tour or Alicja at Contaminated or at shows. And of course from Rich and Lover!s merch on the road. Buy from them because really, mine dont last so long and they need to get paid too because they made the music.
